Kenny Carothers
President
Kenny is an ecologist and environmental consultant with 34+ years experience. His work has been focused on the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and National Environmental Policy Act and he has acquired particular expertise in Conservation and Mitigation Banking.
Kenny is on the Ecological Restoration Business Association (ERBA) Board of Directors, and an active Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner (CERP) with the Society for Ecological Restoration.


Lee Forbes
Director - Ecological Restoration Engineering
Lee Forbes’ is a consulting civil/environmental engineer with more than 35 years’ experience and a focus on sustainable watershed resources management practices and technology.
He has managed and been lead design engineer on many watershed and fluvial geomorphological assessment, natural channel design, ecologically enhanced channel design, wetland restoration, and hydro-dynamic modeling projects across the U.S.
Lee is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states and is a Diplomate of Water Resources Engineering (D.WRE).


Taylor Gleaves
Project Manager Ecologist
Taylor Gleaves is a Professional Wetland Scientist with extensive ecological experience including water resource delineations, assessments, and restoration, permitting, and federal/state listed species coordination and surveys.
He has successfully managed thousands of acres of mitigation sites in both the public and sectors and regularly coordinates with regulatory agencies on 401 and 404 permitting projects, and stream and wetland mitigation project
Taylor holds a Certificate in Geospatial Sciences.


Shanna Kistler
Project Manager - Ecology Services
Shanna is a civil/environmental engineering project manager focused on watershed and fluvial geomorphological assessments, stream and wetland restoration, water budgeting, and natural channel design (NCD). She has managed projects involving multiple disciplines and several federal and state agencies. She frequently serves as the primary client contact and resolution manager.
Shanna is certified by the Virginia DEQ as a Combined Administrator for Erosion and Sediment Control and is fully trained in Rosgen principles.


Amber Huntoon-Colvin
Project Manager Environmental Scientist
Amber Huntoon-Colvin is an environmental scientist with more than 20 years of professional and field volunteer experience in project management, HUD NEPA support, flora and fauna ecological/biological surveys and habitat assessments, rare, native, and noxious/invasive flora surveys, transportation-related hazardous materials site assessments, transportation-related asbestos and lead-based paint (LBP) surveys, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
Amber’s qualifications exceed that of Environmental Professional as defined in 40 CFR §312.10(b).


Krista Thompson-Aue
Project Manager Geospatial Analyst
Krista is a project manager with more than 5 years’ experience in environmental conservation, restoration, mitigation. She is an expert on the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and in the use of geospatial and environmental data analysis to help identify potential wetlands, assess land use change over time, develop in restoration and mitigation plans, and navigate the Housing and Urban Development NEPA process.
Krista holds remote sensing certificates from NASA and Esri and is also a certified Western burrowing owl surveyor.
